Bad DirectSound driver

When I try to play music or vidoesfiles on my computer I
get the following message:

"Bad DirectSound driver. PLease install proper drivers or
select another device in configuration. Error code:
88780078"

I have tried to change sounddevice in configuration, but
it all is shadowed and I can´t change anything. Both my
coundcards is installed and I have the latest drivers for
them both. I have never had any problem with this.

I have tried to re-install DirectX one more time, no
results.

Does anyone have any clues?
