| I signed up, download, burned to DVD and tried to install Microsoft Vista Beta 2. It will not install on either my 6 computers I have, I crashes at the beginning. All 6 computers I have are MS Vista ready, that just proof that I will "NOT" buy this operating system in the future. That is a major bug. Since the Beta program for MS Vista Beta 2 is closed there no sense to continue with this operating system. | Guest

| So, what you are saying, is, that you are basing your decision regarding purchasing a product that does not exist, yet, on an experience with Beta software, of which the entire point is to test and find problems? -- Mark My favourite so far: Unknown device has been correctly installed. | AS Kerry said, this sound almost assuredly like a corrupt download and/or a bad burn. dotcom "Kerry Brown" <kerry@kdbNOSPAMsys-tems.c*a*m> wrote in message news:ucTIE8yrGHA.1592@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... Quote:

| In order to create a Successfull Windows Vista DVD, you need to Burn the ISO to DVD at a Very Slow Speed like 2X or Slower, just FYI. P.S. Since my DVD Burner will not Burn DVD's at that slow of a speed, I instead use Daemon Tools 4.03 (from either a Windows XP Service Pack 2 Installation or Windows XP X64 Edition Installation), to install Windows Vista X86 and X64. | I assume that depends on your hardware. I successfully burned the ISO at full speed, 16X. -- Leo Three things are certain: Death, taxes and lost data. "Kevin Panzke" <KevinPanzke@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C83AF717-4757-493C-88FA-FF01BED3F55F@microsoft.com... Quote:

I've been burning with Nero at 16X. Have Nero validate at burn completion. Chris | Guest

| You were lucky! Microsoft is agressively testing this issue now. They are well aware and concerned about both the download images and the dvd's that were mailed to CPP participants. "Leo" <idontwant@mail.com> wrote in message news:C5B4F370-7394-425B-A0A0-2D9FFC2AFD53@microsoft.com... Quote:

| It is not nonsense at all. It is a real issue under investigation and testing by Microsoft even as we speak. "Chris Sidener" <chris.sidener@verizonnospam.net> wrote in message news:OF0sls1rGHA.1140@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... Quote:
