black and white v. color printing

In the middle of a document I was printing, the color of
text changed from black to blue, and the cartridge is
new. Now, for no reason I am aware of, the text prints
out in turquoise only. I have tried everything related to
the print function, i.e. going to advanced options and
making sure the cursor is on black, and I made sure the
color of the arrows on the document screen are black,
though one was a pink/purple color initially. I have
restarted the computer whenever I made a change, but it's
still turpoise.
