Blue screen of death

Posted: 03-05-2007, 01:23 AM
My computer has just recovered from a case of BSOD and i briefly saw BAD_POOL
when it was BSOD.

This is the details after my computer recovered from the crash

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 18441

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: c2
BCP1: 00000007
BCP2: 0000113D
BCP3: 0A2A0807
BCP4: A35CB3B8
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini030507-01.dmp
C:\Users\Lawrence\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-39811-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\Lawrence\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREA00.tmp.v ersion.txt

What's the problem? I did not install any programmes. I was only doing a
virus scan(Kaspersky) and using the internet(Mozilla Firefox).

Everytime i do this combination, there is no problem, only today.

If you have a place to upload the minidump to, it shouldn't be too hard to
debug.

One of the file you mentioned is "C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini030507-01.dmp".
This is a mini-memory dump. If you can upload it someplace it can be
downloaded, people who know what they are doing (like me) can debug it and
tell you exactly what the crash was.

I have the Windows Vista Home Premium Edition and whenever I plug in my i-pod
to sync it with itunes...I get the blue screen of death message on my

times now, how do I fix it? Please help.

Hi,

Contact Apple for support as this is and has been an ongoing issue with
their supporting software. Make sure you are using the most recent version
available for download, including any patches.

Hi,

It's easy enough to identify as a driver error, however identifying which
driver is the problem is a bit harder. These steps were written for XP, but
are essentially the same for Vista: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314063
