Hi all,
Hope someone can help me with my problem. I have recently upgraded to
Windows Vista. Previously, I had been running Windows XP with my Logitech
bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo (MX5000) which paired to my computer using
an external D-Link bluetooth hub/dongle, DBT-122. I was using the D-Link hub
as the original logitech hub had been damaged and had had no problems with
this setup in XP. When Vista recognised the D-Link hub, it asked for me to
insert the original disk that came with the hub, and proceeded to
automatically install the driver directly from the original disk. My problem
is that the adapter shows in Device Manager, under bluetooth devices, as
D-Link DBT-122 and status shows that the 'device is working properly'. This,
however, is the only mention of bluetooth on my computer. I have no
bluetooth wizard to help me pair, nor do I have any evidence of bluetooth
software installed or any mention in my control panel. I have read that
Vista is not compatible with bluetooth devices dealing with audio, but should
be fine for keyboards and mice, so am at a loss. Any suggestions or advice
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
