Boot.ini tab does not show in msconfig.exe if boot drive isnt C drive.

Posted: 02-14-2004, 07:38 PM
Hi

I reinstalled Windows XP Pro and setup picked L as the drive letter for my
boot drive. Unfortunately msconfig cant see the boot.ini file so therefore
the boot.ini tab does not show. I have tested this by mapping the boot drive
of another machine to the C drive and when this is done the boot.ini tab
shows in msconfig. Can this be fixed in SP2 ?

regards

Tim
