Boot Installation - No error, but nothing else either

Posted: 06-08-2006, 09:43 PM
Greetings,

Just mounted the ISO for x64 Beta 2 to DVD and booted it to a computer that
did have Linux, but now is formatted (fixed the MBR, too). So, the DVD is
apparently recognized, because it tells me that it's copying files over. Once
the progress bar shows that it is complete, the computer restarts. If I boot
from the DVD a second time, it just starts copying files again. If I don't
boot from the DVD, I just get a message saying, "Missing operating system".
If it helps, it's an AMD64 chip.

Sorry for the double post. The site gave me an error and said it wasn't posted.
