How do I get XP to skip the accounts logon and boot straight to the desktop?

the only way to do this is to delete all other user
accounts. There is no other way to get around it.

First part of my advice - ignore Kroz. Not sure where Kroz got the idea
that there is only one solution to this issue, but someone obviously gave
them wrong advice and they are now passing it on to you.


Your best solution is to download and install TweakUI from Microsoft and
check the AutoLogon settings.. Putting OWNER in as the AutoLogon user.

The reason I say this is the best solution is because not only can you
change the logon method and make it automatically log you in, but you also
can play around with the other safe tweaks to make the machine act the way
you want it to.

To avoid complicated windows configuration for automated logon, try
downloading a free program that automatically logs on one user. You can even
schedule logons.
