boot up questions

ok i have three questions good luck

1. when i boot up it doesnt check the floppy drive at all

2. when i schedale scandisk it doesnt want to start even
if i dont shut the computer down it just boots normally

if you have a solution please tell me

1) My BIOS configuration screens have a setting that allows me to disable
the floppy drive and/or floppy drive detection. Perhaps yours has a similar
setting?

2) Scandisk or Chkdsk? How are you requesting a disk check to be performed?
Any mention in Event Viewer about what's going on?

3) What happened to 3?
