Subject: gspca-modules-2.6-686: Module loads, dmesg registers webcam, but /dev/video0 doesn't exist and webcam doesn't work
Package: gspca-modules-2.6-686
Version: 2:2.6.26-3
Severity: important

I have a Dynex-branded webcam that I cannot get to work with the modules I was told to use. Kopete cannot see it, likely due to the fact that /dev/video0 isn't created. I load the modules in /etc/modules at boot up. Below is various checks of the OS information, let me know if you'd like more.
