Build sizes

Posted: 09-02-2006, 03:06 AM
There is a difference in the build sizes between 5536 and 5600:

5536 x86 = 2584.25 MB
5600 x86 = 2643.33 MB

Perhaps some debugging code was removed.

And for reference, 5600 x64 = 3677.22 MB

The numbers for 5472 were
5472 x86 = 2628.95 MB
5472 x64 = 3545.53 MB

The numbers for 5456 were
5456 x86 = 2572.91 MB
5456 x64 = 3356.90 MB

The numbers for 5384 were
5384 x86 = 3200.15 MB
5384 x64 = 4109.73 MB

Somewhere back around 5308 the x64 reached its maximum size and could not
fit on a standard dvd. It required a dual layer dvd. The info is no longer
on Connect.

Because I reversed the numbers. My mistake.

5536 x86 = 2643.33 MB
5600 x86 = 2584.25 MB

Sorry for the mistake!

Ahh....I was just on Connect not more than five minutes before your original
post and I didn't even notice the size. Either way RC1 was a pretty fast
upgrade and clean install.
