There are no hoops to activate her OEM when you replace a motherboard.
Just activate it normally. If you made more hardware changes than the
motherboard swap, you MIGHT have to call the Activation Center to activate.
*** NOTE ***
If the OEM XP was provided by the manufacturer of her computer, such as
HP, Dell, Gateway, etc, her XP MAY be "BIOS-LOCKED" to her motherboard.
In that case, unless you replace the motherboard with one provided by
the manufacturer, you will be violating her warranty, and it is very
possible that her OEM XP will not install on a third-party motherboard.

Hi,

Since the system is un-bootable for the bad main board, we need to change a
new one. The Windows will encounter the STOP 0x7B error with the new main
board. We need to repair the system.

Then, you also may not be able to activate the XPonline, please select
phone call activate and follow the wizard to activate the Windows XP.
