RE: BURN MUSIC TO DVD DISK

Thanks for the PROMPT, and your user name is clever.
I had just typed a rather lengthly response, but when I hit the "post" by
accident, it all vanished.
It is a Gateway 510 series with factory installed DVD/CD burner in one tray
.... and I had a ROM tray installed to not be as confusing.
I got the pc April of this year, so it is probably fairly new.
One factor, there is no user's manual, and I have called the techs at
certain times with other problems, and they to hold on while they check
their manual .... and after being on hold long enough to know the tech is not
going to return, I give up and hang up, (reformatting to get clear disk)
I have been "praticing" burning to CD-RW's and DVD-RW's to keep from wasting
a roomful of cds.
One thing that made me decide to go with this model, was the factor of being
able to download my digitable camera to a DVD disks, touch them up, and then
to save to DVD's and watch on tv DVD player and do it as a slideshow ... the
slideshow seems to work fairly well when I run it on the pc. I have numerous
programs to touch up and add special effects to the images.
Thanks for the assistance, and if you can, help me get this darn machine to
work before I "HIT ANY KEY' with a hammer.
Thanks Byte
