I use Nero Express to burn CD's and i have wasted many
CD's because the computer or something can't find the
patch info for any of the songs. How do I locate the
Patch Info?

I've been burning CDs for a year with no problem using
Media Player, but now get a message that No Device is
Detected. Press F5 to refresh, which does nothing. I can
still use Roxio, but prefer MP. Any suggestions?

I have always thought that SonicStage was hard to use. Did your burner come
with any other software, such as Nero?
Here's some freeware that is supposed to be pretty decent.

BURNING CDS
Posted: 02-15-2004, 09:36 PM
I cant seem to get cds to burn properly. When using media player it does not work at all it goes through all the motions completes say it was successful but then wont play and when I put disc into a player it says its empty. It is a cdr compatable player, I have tried changing the speed etc but no change. If I use nero and do a stright copy from the dvd drive sometimes this is succesful but usualy not sometimes the quality is poor throughout and somtimes just on certain tracks. Again I have tried changing the speed etc. Ive tried different discs as well. How do I findout what is wrong?

I notice that some operatic arias that I burn to CD-Rs from my hard drive do
not play as well on my home stereo as they do on the cheap speakers that came
with my computer, especially when the song reaches a full-volume point in the
high treble range. The sound has a lot of static way up there. Is this due to
a cheap-priced disc I am using, or wouldn't that have anything to do with it?
I have XP and am burning from Media Player 9 playlists.
