C-Media Mixer

Before doing anything, you must confirm that your audio drivers support
C-Media Mixer. If so then try re-installing your audio drivers from your
motherboard cd.
If you have no cd or don't know how to install then you can try one more
thing.

Click - Start - Run - MSConfig.
On the Startup tab, see if there is an entry of SOUNDMAN (or something like
this is unchecked). if it is, then check it and restart your PC.

Use MSconfig very carefully. Do not change anything you don't know about.

Let us know, if it works.
