Re: C:\resycled\boot.com is not a valid Win32 application

I'll add some to the same type of problem.
rescyled/boot is a type of worn that got into my computer...sorce
unknown...it got into the "C"drive and the "E" recovery drive that is also on
the "C" drive and it got to my second drive "D". I tryed everything I knew
and most of the fixes I found on the web. The problem kept coming back
because XP keeps going to the restore drive to save stuff and that make the
worm start right back up. Soooooooo I stuck in the XP disk and did a complete
delete and install, that deleted if from the "C" drive and the "E" recovery
section BUT it stayed in my second drive "D". I deleted everything I could
from the "D" drive, cleaned it and defraged it and still when I click on it,
it says resycled\boot.com is not a valid Win32 application.........and stops
right there.
So my question is how do you clean/format a second drive that wont let you
open it ?

My machine is a eMachine, XP MC.......etc !
