XPro won't let me, when I'm a Limited User, see the calendar; any way to
get it back? Or do I have to regress to paper calendars?

there is no calendar in XP.
where did you have this calendar?
was it in WORKS directory or part of OFFICE?
there is one calendar in outlook express.
if it was in works or office you will need to check in
your cd from these programs.
maybe check your shopping sites for different calendar.

Yes there is: it pops up by double-clicking the sysclock.
XPro defaults to not letting a lowly Limited User set the clock, so I
can't see the calendar either. How to give Limited Users the ability to set
the sysclock?
