| Hi I have two users on my new vista home premium PC. My wife and I want to be able to see each other's diaries and make amendments to either. When I've gone through and eventually managed to see both in the same place (via publishing them to the internet) I find that I can't make any changes because of a lack of access permissions. Any idea how to amend these, to allow full access (I do trust her, really) or is there an easier way of doing this? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Liam | Guest

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro.../calendar.mspx But it looks to me as if you need to subscribe to each other's calendar. This allows you to overlay one calendar over the other with different colors for each person's appointments. You won't be able to change the other person's calendar but will be able to see conflicting appointments and then amend your own calendar accordingly. If there is an important event, send an email invitation so your wife can add it to her calendar (and she can send invitations to you as well). I think invitations is about as close as you're going to get to "amending" each others calendars. Someone else may have a better idea, but at least the above is possible according to the feature description of this portion of Vista. -- Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows Shell/User | Guest

| Sharon F, Appreciate that, and in fact that's the stage I'm at. I just feel that there must be another option as when trying to amend or add an entry to the opposite calendar, it reports that I didn't have permission to do so. Implying that if the permissions were changed then i might have been able to. Both are admin accounts and I can't find anywhere to affect any permissions.... But thanks...
