camera

i don't have a lot of problems on my system except may be i have a camera
and for some reason it works for a while, then it tell me that there was an
error and the feed from the camera cannot be showed, now it's not a big
problem because the tempory fix is to move the camera to a another usb slot,
but i was wandering if anyone else had that problem and if they had a fix,
right now i'm experimenting with my registry program, i'm thinking may be
the program is erasing the key needed to make it work, so please help if you
can, if you can't it's ok i barely use my camera anyway may be 12 times a
year, he he he

Often, this is caused by something else on the system interrupting the data
feed. If you're pushing a large file to the system, you might want to shut
down unnecessary applications. Also, temporarily disconnect from the
Internet and shut down your antivirus and anything else running in the
background.

This by the way can happen on burning DVDs and CDs for the same reason.

it there's no files copying or moving, but i will try the antivirus and the
web off, if anything else tell me

Try this, open Device Manager in Control Panel, scroll to Universal Serial
Bus Controllers and click it, in the expanded list, right click each USB
Root Hub one by one, select properties, go to the Power Management tab, make
sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is NOT
selected. If it is selected, remove the check and click ok.
