What are you trying to do with it? I was able to create one and create a
shared network folder between an XP and Vista machine and update both
Briefcases across the network. Please note Brief Case in 64 bit Windows is
not compatible with Brief case in 32 bit Windows.

Well then forget x64.
Here's what I'm trying to do using Vista RC1 (5600) x32bit:
Create a Briefcase folder on a second HDD. Drag folders from the main
HDD to the Briefcase folder on the second HDD. On two machines when I
attempt this the Briefcase folder goes "not responding".
I've been using Briefcase folders for about 10 yrs now and never had
this problem.
What's happening?

Maybe its a bug, you can file a report using the Feedback link on your
desktop.
