Yes, with a dynDNS facility.

My list of these is way out of date, I suspect--readers, please post your
own.

If you don't mind paying, or want to try a 30-day free trial to get started
quickly, look at:

www.tzo.com

There are many free services as well, but I don't have a list.

Yes, check out the service provided by dyndns.org or no-ip.com (there are
others) they allow you to run a client (dyndns.org has a bundle to chose
from) that updates your ip address whenever it changes and gives you a
friendly name like dana.dyndns.org to remember.

Hope that helps.

I'll spend some time this weekend to update my listing of them (which
is woefully inadequate).

Also, make sure consider ZoneEdit, which offers free DNS hosting for
up to 5 domains. The only fee is to register your domain name (I use
www.godaddy.com to register sites). I then use DirectUpdate to update
ZoneEdit with the new IP addresses (I've been running about 25 days
between updates now on SBC DSL). The main drawback to ZoneEdit is a
minimum 5 minute TTL (time to live) time for the entries - meaning if
my IP address changes, it can take 5 minutes before all sites can use
the new address.

www.dyndns.org is a good free backup.

For a full list, take a look at
