Can not install windows search

Can not install windows search on vista business
1. sp1 patched.
2. error msg:Yes, i have the Vista SP1 in stalled.
The error msg is "The update does not apply to your system"
The file i downloaded is Windows6.0-KB940157-x86.
3. windows updates updated. don't SP1 is final rel or beta, don't know how
to find.
