| I am running a Hp Pavillion Dv8000t, using Windows Vista Ultimate. This morning i turned on my laptop and it loaded a temp profile, saying that it could not load my profile. I tried logging out and back in and got the temp profile and i turned off my pc and turned it back on and still got the temp. The weird thing is that i can still access my data (my profile's songs and documents) but i would have to install the programs on the temp account for it to be used. Right now i am running a Windows LiveCare 2.0 spyware/virus scan. How can i get back on my profile and not lose any data? | Guest

| Same problem here, except no message from Windows when login in. I'm login in with TEMP profile, but c:\users\TEMP is only minimal - my stuff is still in c:\users\<MyAccountName> Do a SET on the command prompt and all the variables refer to C:\users\TEMP This happened after the automatic update updated Vista last night. Did you find a fix after all? TIA. "Kit T. Kat" wrote: Quote:
