can pin internet but not view web pages!

wierd problem. i have seen it before, but can't remember
the fix. we have 3 machines hooked up to a d-link 614+
router. this pc works fine with everything and is running
xp, the second pc, which is a laptop running 98se works
fine with everything except www.google.com, it says can't
be displayed! wierd! the third pc runs xp pro aswell, and
can ping the internet, and view the computers on the
network, but can't view web sites or log onto aol or msn
etc. as far as windows is concerned there is no internet
connection, but pinging etc at command prompt works
fine... on the first system with xp, i have an "internet
gateway" icon in connections, on the second i think it
used to, but doesn't anymore... i have tried to setup
networking a few times on that system, have checked
router settings etc, tried to renew the ip etc, no go...
any suggestion? all help greatly appreciated.
