| I had to put my laptop back to XP Pro for various network reasons and would like to return to Vista. Is there a way to enable Administrative shares on Vista Business in a work group network? I know that registry editing will necessary. I need to see the Admin shares on XP Pro and Win 2000 machines and for them to see the Vista shares -- WillyNPG Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com | Guest

| Bear in mind that you are asking to turn off a security feature, and so are opening yourself up to greater risk. The registry change is described here: http://blogs.msdn.com/vistacompattea...22/766945.aspx "WillyNPG" wrote: Quote:
