Cannot enter my new computer as I don't know the user or password

I just purchased a new ACER Aspire for my family with VISTA home basic on it
and due to some problems with the keyboard not working we managed to enter a
user and password through a remote control device and now do not know what it
is. We cannot enter the system at all so all references to a password reset
disc do not apply. Also we do not have the VISTA dvd as the program is on
the OS. My kids just want to use the new computer and so far all we can do
is look at the first screen asking us for a user and password.

Hi, click the link above. You moght have to use the Safe Mode in tha
tutorial. Please reply if that solves your problem. Thank you
