cannot find shared printer

I have an HP 880C connected to destop running ME. Laptop
is running XP home. I cannot find this shared printer
when trying to add on the XP laptop. Any help is greatly
appreciated. The ME machine sees the XP laptop OK.

Can the XP notebook see the files and folders on the ME PC? If not you need
to setup the network configuration correctly.

If it can, is the printer shared ands is the shared name 12
characters/number or less and with NO SPACES in it?
