Default cannot get an account to work properly

My sons screen on our pc quit working properly about a
week ago. We had delete his screen and set up a new one.
I am the default. When he first clicks to open his page
it says it cannot find files for it and will have to use
the default files. When it has loaded it will not let him
use the msn messenger and when the icon is clicked from
the upper toolbar it will turn on aol instant messenger.
It does not sign him in automatically to msn messenger
anymore. We have tried everything we know to fix this and
it keeps coming up the same. Thank you for any help.

Default cannot get an account to work properly

In his desktop,open control-panel,add/remove programs,
open,windows components(sub-menu),open msn,and messenger
check the boxes,he probably needs to install msn mess-
enger sepertly, there's a mssngr.site and one needs to
dwnload in the open mode.Edit internet options,1st page,
type in,http://www.msn.com edit the rest, leave advanced
alone.

Default cannot get an account to work properly

I have installed the msn messenger several times and when
he logs off and then logs back on anything that we put in
under his screen is gone. I had to reset his e*mail under
my screen to get it to work, but under his screen nothing
to do with his mail or messenger will work. When he goes
to sign on clicks his name to sign into his screen it
says it cannot find the file for him and will have to use
the default. It never did this before last week. Nothing
loads automatically like it did before and when he clicks
on anything other than the I.E. icon, they don't open. We
couldn't even access this help site from his screen, it
says he doesn't have the windows required to come here. I
am sorry that this sounds confusing, but I can only speak
in laymans terms. Thank you.
