Cannot identify a programme

Ask the sender what program he used to create the file!

I did say I could not find out what programme it was, implication
being of course that the first thing I did was exactly that. They do
not know, they are merely forwarding something to me, that opens for
them.

Would it bee to much trouble to ask you friend what program opened when they
ran the file - you dumb shit!

It is not an implication I would have taken as read. But I suggest that
if they are forwarding things where they do not properly know the
source, it would be a risk *trying* to open them,. There are too many
nasties around - and they often look as if they came from somebody who
in fact has no connection with them at all
