| I have a DC25 from back in my Win '95 days. My PC with Win XP could not "see" the camera. Kodak told me I'd have to get a newer camera because they no longer supported it on XP. I resolved the issue by buying a picture card and reader. Kodak told me that even the old software wouldn't work, but I run it in compatability mode and transfer the pictures via the reader cable (USB) just fine. Maybe this will work for you! Barb Quote:

The Kodak software wouldn't install on 95 even though I had the USB update. NT had no concept of USB whatsoever. I bought a Sandisk ImageMate Compact Flash card reader and it worked fine on 95. It makes the card appear as a removeable disk drive. Much faster, too. Since I never ran the Kodak software, I can't say you wouldn't miss it. I generally use IrfanView to view, modify, and even print to the Canon S800 with excellent results. Only occasionally will I need to use more complex image editing software. | Guest
