Cannot Install Printer Software

I just did a new build and am trying to install an HP CM1015 mfp. I can
install drivers just fine, but the scanning software will not install.
Software disk will not start and gives error message
"Cannot find library MSVCR80.dll (required by
C:|Progra~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL) Please insure that it is
installed."
It is installed in the exact same locations as in old computer which worked
fine.
Something makes me think this is a .NET Framework problem.
Anyone with answers/help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install all the Service Packs after the new install of XP? Also all
of the critical updates released after the last Service Pack? Service Packs
are cumulative so you do not need to get each one separately, just the last
one released and you should have everything before that.

Yes I am up to date. Have been downloading all updates and installing as well
as using auto update.
