Cannot Install Vista [BSOD] -- Upgrade Advisor Gave OK

Posted: 09-27-2007, 06:03 PM
I am attempting to install Vista Business on a heavily upgraded HP x4000
workstation.

The Upgrade Advisor stated that my Ethernet Card and RAID device support
status were unkown. I have Vista drivers for the RAID device and used them
during the install process to access the target drive. The Ethernet Card I
have tried disabling in bios, and I still BSOD during install.

When Finishing the installation, and I got a STOP 0x000000EA BSOD.

This is caused by a device driver, and safe mode gets me to the point where
it says that it cannot finish the install in safe mode, then it reboots.

Is there a way to pinpoint which device driver is the culprit?

Or any way I can get this to install without dark rituals and other vood
