doesn't look like there's enough support for SATA drives or the
motherboard/video drivers yet. I've tried numerous times to install rc1 on a
SATA partition and it doesn't look like there's a provision to install the
RAID drivers.
tried doing an upgrade install over win xp pro and halfway thru i got a blue
screen crash. after disabling many drivers and hardware devices in device
manager in xp pro i tried the upgrade option and vista said it was disabled;
i only had the option to install it to another partition. did that and got
the BSOD again. there was no provision to install the nVidia nForce4 chipset
RAID SATA drivers on that partition.
tried the boot to dvd option and all i got was the pretty wallpaper design
and an hourglass going on the monitor for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
any suggestions?
