Cannot see the local printer on remote desktop? Read this.

Hi,

No matter what I did I wasn't able to see the local printer on a
remote desktop session from a specific PC. It wasn't the driver, it
wasn't the register, it wasn't the port. One difference got my
attention. Local printer on the PC was seen as "Auto Hp ..." Where did
this "Auto" prefix come from? Probably Windows added this printer or
something and added the "Auto" prefix. So I deleted the printer and
added again. There wasn't any "Auto" prefix this time. And when I
reconnect to the remote desktop, I was able to see the printer! I
don't know what's up with this "Auto" thing, but just to let you
know... Local printer was a network printer connected via USB port. I
hope this helps some of you.
