| Use only Canon approved ink cartridges and not refills. Refills are more trouble than they are worth since they cannot be properly calibrated. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows Vista Enthusiast --------------------------------------------------------------- "steamloco" <steamloco@xtra.co.nz> wrote in message news:entRMfdzIHA.4676@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... I don't always use new cartridges and the ink monitor thinks I am out of ink, when re-filled cartridges are in and full. There is some way of turning off the ink monitor but I can't locate the instruction. Anyone else? Thank you rh -- | Guest
