cant add printer

using xp home, i am trying to install a printer. controll pannel printers, add printer and i get an"unable to perform task message". if i go another route, "new hardware dected" and try to load the drivers i get an error stating "the RPC server is unavailable" any help plz!

Is the print spooler started?

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)

I'm glad it's printing, but sorry to tell you I don't like beer or lager! A
cold diet coke will be just fine!

I live in Atlanta, the home of Coke. I'll get you a fresh one! Dont here many people use the term lager where are you from
