Can't capture via 1394 port

I am using a Gigabyte GA-8PENXP Motherboard with an on
board IEEE1394 TI TSB43AB23 chip as far as I know
everything seems to be configured to work, but Adobe
Premiere an all other capture software comes up with no
access to the camera. Maby thomeone has the same board or
problem.
