| Hi, I have recently setup a network in my house and currently two computers connect to it fine - these both run Windows XP SP2, one is connected via. wireless and one via. wire. I have also connected my work laptop, again running XP SP2, over the wireless and that worked fine as well. However, my house mate has now brought a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Vista Home Premium. Initially this connected over the wireless fine using WPA2. However, the connection keeps coming and going and now I can't seem to get it back at all. It says that the signal strength is excellent but then complains about not receiving anything back from the router when trying to connect, and claims that this may be due to a poor signal. I have tried using WEP but that didn't work. Also, when I connected it via. wire it could only connect to the local network and not the Internet. I am using a TalkTalk SNK6530NS router (I believe this is actually made by Philips but rebranded by TalkTalk, the UK ISP). I have not had much experience with Vista as yet, so any help here is much appreciated. Many thanks, David Saunders | Guest
