Hi Robert :-)

How to disable the UAC

Go to Control Panel>User Accounts>Turn off User Account Control
Uncheck the box next to Enable User Account Control....

or..

Go to Start>Run>msconfig>enter
Tool>scroll down to Disable UAC and click on it,
Click the Launch tab
Click ok and close
You have to reboot the computer for it to take affect

Hope this helps.

First of all, dissabling uac is a security risk,as it is designed to
control system changes at an addministrator level. However, in some cases it
is needed. To dissable this function, open start menu. Open the run box and
type (MSCONFIG), then click ok. When services open, click on the tools menu.
Scroll down to the listing (Dissable UAC). Then click on it, and click
(launch). A dialog box will open. As soon as it says (task successful),
close the services box and restart the system. When you log on, uac will be
dissabled
