Can't erase CDs

Posted: 01-24-2006, 06:39 PM
Hi Forum members,I am relatively new to making MP3s,and made a few mstakes so
decided to erase the CD-RW discs that I was using and start again, but a pop
up window told me that the files were read only and could not be erased even
though the cd writing wizard said the files were being erased.I went into
properties to alter the read only attribute and clicked on apply, but somehow
the files revert back to being read only. Can anyone tell me how I can erase
these discs,so that I can reuse them? When I try to erase the files in
Musicmatch Jukebox I get a message the disc has been finalised, whatever that
may mean.

Right click on the disk (in My Computer) (oh and make sure it's the CD drive
that you're doing this on) and select "Format" from the options.
