i can't find a VIA AC'97 Audio Controller (WDM) driver for my computer

Try reloading the driver software that came with your computer/sound card, if you don't have the drivers that came with the computer you will need to find out the manufacturer of the sound card, and search for the manufacturer's web site, then you can get the drivers from there, If you don't know the manufacturer you will probably need help locating the sound card inside the computer to find the part #/ manufacturer nam

to reload drivers right click on my computer on your desktop, go to device manager, find your sound card, try troubleshooting, then try update driver

Do a search for "ac97 drivers", I only found about a thousand.
