I am using Windows XP and I have a Lexmark Z52 printer. I
can't get the printer to print. I have also tried a Canon
BJC 4300 and it wouldn't print either. I know the Canon
worked at my job so I brought it home, installed the
drivers and printer and it wouldn't print. I uninstalled
it and reinstalled the Lexmark. I tried two cables and I
know the cables were good. I can hold the reset button
down on the printer while I turn the printer on and it will
print the test page.
I tried uninstalling the drivers several times and tried
installing the printer by the CD that came with the
printer, also by the Lexmark web site, and let the printer
install automatically with the Plug & Play checked in the
install box. I am lost now. I don't know what to try next
and I desperately need this printer. I lost my job and I
need to print resumes and other things to find work again.
Has anybody encountered this and do you have a solution? I
would certainly be grateful. If you prefer to call me my
home phone number is (979) 478-7221.
