(Sorry about my english...it's not perfect!)
I tried to install Vista final german many times on different HardDisks (PC
has never changed!).
80GB Seagate SATA-2 7.200 and 120GB Seagate SATA-2. It didn't work...
After the first reboot after Installation i saw the message: Press any Key
for booting from CD/DVD... At this time i don't want to boot from DVD so i
didn't press but nothing happend. The Message was still there without any
action.
I also tried to upgrade Win XP SP2 two times on both HDDs without success.
After Upgrading, the PC never stops booting (in German: Boot-Schleife).
This was the time i started hating Vista! I tried one more possibility...as
the last chance for Vista.
I tried to Install Vista once more but this time on a Western Digital HDD
80GB SATA-1 10.000rpm (Raptor).
What has happened? I was able to install Vista without any problems and it
runs how i expectet! Perfect...!!!
Well, why wasn't i able to install Vista on these two SATA-2 HDDs??????
