Ronnie,

Thanks for informed me, but did you have any idea about my problem?

Hi There,

I have had this same problem for the past few months now and cannot find any
information anywhere. Whenever you try to gain access to UAC in order to
change a file permission, it gives this error message. Is there a value in
the registry that I can change to fix this problem (as it does mention there
is an "invalid value in the registry")? I can't do a system restore and I
certainly don't want to re-install windows.

If anyone is still watching this thread, any response/ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

Briar
