Can't play mp3s on networked computer

Posted: 06-24-2004, 12:38 PM
I have an XP Pro and an XP Home PC networked in my house. I've shared the My Music folder, but am unable to play "newly" created mp3s. All of the mp3s I had when I first networked play just fine on either computer, but when I create a new one (via Music Match) my XP Pro machine will not play it from the XP Home machine. If I try and copy or move it I get an acess denied error. Lastly, if I create a .wav file as opposed to an mp3, it will play on either machine. All other networking tasks work just fine. Any thoughts?

Ken
