Default Can't reconnect to router after router reset

Whenever I lose my wireless connection to my router (I connect to a Linksys
Wireless G router), I'm not able to reconnect to it unless I restart my
computer completely. The reason I can't connect is that it says my wireless
security key is incorrect, and even when re-typing in the security key it
will always say it is incorrect until I restart my computer. I was wondering
if anyone can shed some light on why this is occuring and how I can go about
fixing it. For a wireless network card, I use a Compact Wireless-G USB
adapter.

Thanks for the help. I don't have an IP when in this state. I'm downloading
the update you linked for me and I hope it works =).
