| want to reinstall xp (without having to reformat my hard drive). when i try to reinstall (boot from CD) i get the message "INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 14. Setup cannot continue." I've tried copying a textsetup.sif that i found in another folder but i get the same message. tried looking for that file on the internet but no luck. anyway, from the research i've done this particular .sif file is a record of how your pc is set up so each file is unique to that machine. anything i can do to get a reinstall running on my machine? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks, tim | Guest
