| Long story short, my Software Licensing service will not start because I keep getting access denied error messages, and as some people might know, this means windows won't can't be verified and it runs in limited functionality. I've run it in administrator and it will let me start, but as soon as I log off (which I need to do to get out of the reduced functionality), I get the access denied message again. Does anyone have any idea on how to get it to start and stay started? | Guest

| Hello, I don't know if it works but you could try to create another user (maybe using Safe Mode if this doesn't work in reduced functionality mode) and try activating there. Good luck. -- Greetings, P. Di Stolfo "Dval" <Dval@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:32C83CCF-442B-46CD-9355-07B20B851137@microsoft.com... Quote:

| Unfortunately, I tried starting it in safe mode, but the service won't even start in safe mode, so that doesn't work. And Mr. McDaniel, I already have a license, so I'm not going to spend another $100+ to try and fix it. To other future readers, I reformatted and reinstalled, so I won't be able to test and further suggestions. "P. Di Stolfo" wrote: Quote:
