To my way of thinking a Catastrophic failure means WinXP is not fully
loading for some reason. Is that what's happening? Or is it that you can't
uninstall Pinnacle Studio8 and XP still works Ok? If it's the latter
then just go to C:\Program Files delete the Pinnacle Folder. Then go to
Start>Run type regedit
Navigate to Hkey_Current_User\Software and delete any Pinnacle folder
there. The same at
HKey_Local_Machine\Software.
