CD & DVD - System Freezes

computer with a Sony CD RW and a Pioneer DVD RW. Wife gave
me Nero Ultra 6 for Christmas. Everything works fine until
I load Nero. When Nero is installed I can put a CD or DVD
in and it will work fine but if I remove the first CD or
DVD and insert a second one my system locks up to the
point I have to use the reset button. I see other notes
where Nero is recommended but I can't get it to work. I'd
just forget about Nero but my wife keeps asking how I like
it.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this and get the software to
work on my computer ???
